Test Centre
FTB laboratory and test centre provides facilities for the testing of technical aids close to the practice. The verification of the results in functional tests and also by user assessment is a basic precondition of an effective research and development work. In the exemplary home and the experiment hall different technical aids can be tested separately and in combination. In the outdoor area various training parcours for tests of mobility will be set up.
Examples of activities:
- Assessment and test
of manipulators for application at the working place and the private environment. - Design
which meets the needs of patients, older people and people with disabilities.
Test and assessment of technical aids, especially aids for daily living and
sanitary equipment with respect to independence and care. - User inquiries
among the inhabitants of the Evangelische Stiftung Volmarstein
about their experiences with wheelchairs.
